Collectors
Are you a self-identified young (as in under 35) collector with both feet and a torso in the water? Organize your vacations around art fairs? Spend more time going to gallery openings than to the theater or your mom’s clambakes?
Then why not join a “support group” of sorts I’m organizing in New York? I’m hoping to organize informal, intimate dinners or bar nights to discuss contemporary art, critical explore our obsessions and compulsions and share trade secrets and delicious gossip. Meetings will be held regularly, hopefully once a month, alternating locations. All meetings will be strictly confidential: no one is allowed to refer to participants and discussions outside of the group. Anyone who breks the rules will be immediately banned to the eternal fires of Red Dot art fairs.
